Holker Hall

Holker Hall is located in Nr Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, approximately three hundred miles north-west of Parkinson Park in Hampshire. It has been the seat of the Greengrass family for a number of years, and is celebrated throughout the country for its phenomenal country gardens. In December 1997, Calvin Greengrass, the family patriarch, was killed doing battle with Hestia Jones. The house passed to his son, Oscar Greengrass, who lives there with his mother, Docia, and two younger sisters, Daphne and Astoria.

Malfoy Manor

Malfoy Manor is located in Wiltshire, which borders Hampshire in the south west of England. It is the seat of the Malfoys, the richest family in Wizarding Britain, and has been in possession of the family longer than any property in the UK. Lucius Malfoy is the current master of the home, where he lived with his wife and son, Narcissa and Draco, until his incarceration in Azkaban in June 1996.

Lucius Malfoy is related to the Parkinsons through his deceased sister, Mireille Malfoy-Parkinson, and her daughter, Pansy.

Of note are the lavish furnishings of the home, which far exceed that of any other houses seen in the story. Even though the Parkinsons are direct relations to the Malfoys, the Malfoy family assets are worth more than twice than that of the Parkinsons.

Parkinson Park

Parkinson Park is located near Alverstoke, a small parish in the borough of Gosport, Hampshire, England. It is the seat of the Parkinson family home which the family has held for over seven generations. Pansy father, Florian Parkinson II, is the current master of the home.

The pictures used for Parkinson Park were combined from three separate locations: Glengorm Castle, Sherbourne Castle, and Castle Fionn. None of these castles are actually located in Hampshire, England.
